[music |"When Did You Fall" - Chris Rice]

I love this song. It's so mellow...

I love Rob Bell's videos. He's such a captivating and passionate speaker. Go to NOOMA and watch his videos, mk?

I didn't have to show my final web presentation today OR take last week's test because the power went out at our school and the weather was getting worse the longer we sat around up there in the dimly-lit hallways. Too bad, though, because I was looking forward to giving my instructor a bad review. What kind of instructor is asked to teach a class who is asking his students to get in front of the room and teach the class. I'm not a TA, so don't ask me to do this stuff especially if I'm paying out of my own pocket (not the governments) to take this class.

Power was off at the house for a couple of hours, too. I kinda liked it. I put a battery in the radio and listened to 105.3 and played solitaire on the laptop. I should've been reading or something better, but eh.

In the morning, I gotta go back to Oak Cliff. And then go back to the office and work on some computer stuff. Busy busy busy.
On Friday, I'm going to Best Buy, babysitting that afternoon, then coming home and packing.
Saturday, hopefully drop off some DVDs to someone, then leave at 4:!5pm to go to ALABAMA for a WEEEEEK!!

Saturday
Me and Sari left about 6:30pm and made it to Austin @ [info]unceremonious's apartment at 9:05pm. We left briefly to go to H-E-B and then came back to see Amanda + Robert + Matt. So we socialized for a litte bit and then more people started to show up. I think I counted 17 people in the apartment at once. It was such a great time...chasing Kevin with the nail polish, fitting 7 adults into a tub, a parade to guide Jenni B home, playing telephone, and much more. The party officially ended for me at 4:00am when I found myself face down on Amanda's extremely comfy bed. Then I woke up to someone pushing me up against the wall.

Sunday
I woke up at 10:45am & said goodbye to John. Then myself, amanda, and sari went to Toy Joy to look around, then to Thunderbolt for some lunch. The drive-thru guy there was...interesting. We had lunch, and then I said goodbye to me dear highschool chum and made my way back to Dallas.

The traffic was horrible in Hillsboro. I called Marg cause I wasn't gonna make it to church that night. But she insisted that I show up, that it was important. I got there at 5:30pm (after I got home at 5:00, showered and changed clothes) and after services I did my usual socializing with adults and then to the youth room. I was in the YR for maybe 20 minutes?...and then a mob of teens come into the room and behind them is a birthday cake and a big gift. I was completely surprised. :) The kids said they pitched in a bought me....*drumroll*...Guitar Hero II...!!!!

I could brag all day about how great those kids are, seriously. They're gooder than gold. After cake, soda, socializing, and hugs, I went home and played GHII for 2-3 hours until I couldn't move my hand at all.

I'm very excited about tomoroww because my dad is flying in at 10:00am, and we're having lunch together!! Probably at Chick-Fil-A or something so we can accomodate Morgan.

Happy St. Patty's Day [Mar. 17th, 2007|11:44 am]
Goin' to see [info]unceremonious this evening in Austin. Can't wait! I've never been to one of her parties, so I'm anxious to see how it will turn out. Oh, and I managed to get Sari to tag along. Yessss.

Last night I ate at Johnny Carino's and then blew up Diet Coke bottles with Nolan. Wow, much fun. Then I laid around and watched the last 1/3 of "Walk the Lin". I LOVE that movie!

I'll be back Sunday evening.

Today... [Feb. 11th, 2007|02:49 am]
[mood |groggygroggy]

:: Two-hour long photoshoot of a friend and her b/f. With good results!
:: Got dressed up and went to Barnes & Noble (bought a book) and then to Cheesecaked Factory. We let our waiter come sit with us and talk to us about how working at the C.F. is kinda sucky cause most of the guests are snotty people. Go figure. But we're not. Cause we're cool and not from North Dallas.
:: Left there and went to Bennigans until 1:30am
:: Fell asleep in the car until I got dropped off at 2:30am.
:: Now I'm sitting here blogging.
:: Going to bed. G'nite.

Today was really great.

I got out of bed really late because my alarm clock has broken and I cannot afford a new one at the moment. I feel a bit strange because we've just moved to Idaho and there's a weird smell in the house. I'm so sad. My kitten got run over this afternoon. I found him when I was coming home from school. His head was all squished. I took some photos. I'll miss him. Poor kitty.

Last night I had to go and pay Joshua's bail. He's such a jerk. He got arrested for punching the Walmart clerk in the face for refusing to sell him beer. He's only 16! I want to tell the world that I love you all! You're all so special to me! I am sharpening my knives before I go to work today, because I'm going to cut out Robert's heart and feed it to him for losing my mail.

Today, I got a digital camera! Yes! Here's ten thousand photographs of my cat.

I want to say thanks to Babybob556 for making the background and icons for my journal. Thanks hon, ur super special! I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I have bipolar disorder, which makes me different enough to be interesting, but the same as all the other cool people with bipolar disorder.

You should all do this quiz! It's amazingly accurate. You just put in your name and birthday, and it will tell you you're a moron. That's enough for now. But I'll leave you with this thought - sharing your life with strangers on the internet is the cheapest form of therapy available. Leave a comment and tell me I'm beautiful.

dream. [Feb. 5th, 2007|09:42 pm]
To dream that a plane crashes, suggests that you have set overly high and unrealistic goals for yourself. Your goals may be too high and are impossible to realize. You are in danger of having it come crashing down. Alternatively, your lack of confidence, self-defeating attitude and self-doubt toward the goals you have set for yourself is represented by the crashing airplane; you do not believe in your ability to attain those goals. Loss of power and uncertainty in achieving your goals are also signified.

...yup, makes sense.

[music |"Shine" - Collective Soul]

I'm just so uncertain about so many things. I hate it when that happens.

Today I had hardly anything to do cause I found out the winter retreat was cancelled. So I redesigned 3 bulletin boards and other random things. Wasn't very exciting, but it's work. And right now I'm trying to do whatever work I can find so I can still have a job. :/

There's this little places called Joe's Southern Cooking.... it's in a carwash in Ovilla. Dang, it's good stuff. And cheap.

Ohhhh I need to go talk to the financial aid lady. I almost forgot. I better do that if I want to take my web design class. Mmmhmm.

I really really really want to go to Winterfest Arlington tomorrow. I hope I can get a spot! If not, then I'm going to the new Studio Movie Grill in Arlington to see The Hitcher. Should be fun.
